Intrèpide is right… an adventurous wine that tells its tail with class. Its a perfect example of the quality and energy from up-and-coming winemakers making their mark in the Yarra Valley. Stu Dudine has brought this Marsanne from its beginnings (a tiny, little known plot of unirrigated vines nestled in Mount Evelyn) to the bottle via some great winemaking – 21 days on skin contact and 6 months in oak – its adventurous but it has worked a treat – its clean ad tidy yet fun and intriguing.
